Spring Field Trips

Spring Field Trips - K-5 Regular Program
Students will rotate through 6 stations: 1.5 - 2 hours
         
Cotton: From Field to Fabric!-
Lesson in our Learning Barn 		   
         
  Wagon Ride-
Students will enjoy a ride around the farm!
         
Planting Lesson-
Lesson and hands-on planting.
Kids will plant watermelons in spring! 		   
         
  Train Car-
Students will enjoy an upbeat discussion of
transportation in the 1800's while seated
in the oldest passenger car on the East coast!
         
Animal Barn-
Lesson and feeding of the animals of AwShucks! 		   
         
  McCain's-
Students will step back in time to view and hear
about the 100 year old General Store. Each
child will receive an old fashioned candy stick.

** Trip is scheduled for 3 hours (includes time for lunch and playtime after lunch).
Choose from the following time slots:
Weekdays (Monday - Friday)
  1. 9:00am - 12:00 noon
  2. 9:30am - 12:30pm
  3. 10:00am - 1:00pm
